Transitioning to college can sometimes be stressful for families, too. The Office of Parent & Family Services (OPFS) is dedicated to helping you and your student navigate through the transition to life at Mississippi State University.
OPFS offers services and opportunities for families to connect with campus officials, campus resources, and other MSU families. We are completely committed to creating a partnership with you and we hope this partnership will provide you with the resources necessary to assist your student find success at MSU.

Our Mission
The Office of Parent and Family Services recognizes parents and family members as a valuable resource to each student. We want to serve as the liaison between your family, your student, and the university community. We hope to help you fully understand and navigate the many campus resources, provide you with timely communications, and promote meaningful parental involvement that will allow for optimum student development and success.
