Dear Parents

Happy Thanksgiving! Most students are already home and excited to have a short break from school and studying. Even though it is a holiday, many students are still going to be anxious about complete the semester.

Once students return to class on November 30, they only have a couple of days before final exams begin. This is also a busy time socially as many groups and organizations try to use these last few days to have holiday parties and say goodbye before the semester ends.

Make certain your student knows you support them now as they face the biggest challenge of the semester – finals! Pack up some turkey and dressing for them to bring back to campus after Thanksgiving. Give them a supportive card to open the day that finals begin. Tell them often that you believe in them.

Keep Account Balances Current

Don’t let past due balances hold up your student’s progress. Please make sure your student’s account is current and in good standing prior to enrollment in the next term. An account is considered current when past due balances are paid in full. Past due accounts will be placed on financial HOLD until unpaid charges have been settled. Payment due dates are the 9th day of each month. Pre-registration privileges and continued enrollment are best insured by avoiding a financial HOLD status.
